Ligne délimitant la frontière entre la Pologne et l'Allemagne. Elle suit le cours de deux fleuves, l'Oder et la Neisse. Les nationalistes allemands l'ont contestée pendant longtemps, car son tracé entraînait la cession à la Pologne de la Poméranie orientale, de la Prusse orientale et de la Silésie. C'est ainsi que de nombreuses villes allemandes, comme Breslau (Wroclaw), Dantzig (Gdansk), Posen (Poznan) et Stettin (Szczcin) sont devenues polonaises.
