DEF

A quantitative or qualitative term used to describe the degree of reaction with a leaching agent.

CONT

Leachability can be reported for the whole or a portion of a sample or mine component and is determined by the solubility of the reactant and the type, relative volume and percolation rate of solvent.

CONT

The leachability, or ease of leaching, of a pesticide depends upon how water-soluble it is and how strongly it adsorbs to the soil. The higher the leachability of a compound, the greater the risk of it being transported down to the groundwater system.

CONT

Rocky Mountain Remediation Services is the metals stabilization expert. Our envirobond product line is designed to reduce the leachability of metals to non-hazardous levels.
