C’est la caractéristique d’absence d’appui antéro-interne avec hallux flessus habituellement adductus observé après paralysie ou insuffisance du muscle long fibulaire et prédominance du tibial antérieur. A l’âge adulte c’est souvent l’opération de Lapidus qui est proposée comportant une ostéotomie de la base du 1er métatarsien pour abaisser ce dernier, un allongement du tibial antérieur et un transfert du long fléchisseur de l’hallux sous le col de M1.
