The 900014 Series Presur-Pak provides an extra margin of safety for users who must enter atmospheres immediately dangerous to life [IDLH]. Like the Air-Pak, Presur-Pak provides pure breathing air, precisely regulated to the need (demand) of the user, from an aluminum cylinder carried comfortably on the back. ... Unlike Air-Pak, which provides air on demand only, Presur-Pak, with selector switch in up (on) position, provides air on demand and maintains a positive, comfortable, gentle pressure within the facepiece well above that of the outside atmosphere.
