English

Subject field(s)
  • Restoration of Works of Art (Museums and Heritage)
CONT

After dealing with loose dirt, general surface dirt (which is more difficult to remove) can be treated using an erasing compound prepared from a suitable eraser. Ideally an erasing compound should be chemically inert, not physically disruptive to the paper, and of sufficient particle size to permit thorough removal from the paper.

French

Domaine(s)
  • Restauration d'œuvres d'art (Muséologie et Patrimoine)
CONT
