The bottom portion of a parison that is severed by the lower pinch-offs and falls outside the mold.

CONT

Problem: Parison pinch off sticks to product. Probable causes: Parison tail too long. Correction: Shorten parison, provide additional pinch-off; relieve area to cool tail.

La paroi inférieure de chaque canal est percée d'un orifice à travers lequel un poinçon animé d'un mouvement vertical alternatif pousse une quantité de verre que l'on appelle «paraison» et qui correspond au poids de l'objet à fabriquer. - Une paire de ciseaux coupe automatiquement la queue de la paraison et celle-ci tombe dans un moule où elle prend sa forme définitive.
