The Network is made up of individuals, government and non-governmental organizations, schools and universities along the more than 3,000 kilometres of the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River. Every day, data on water quality and the ecosystem are collected and transmitted to the Biosphere. The information is then available to anyone who wants it.
