Custom-developed application used by various arms of the Product Safety Bureau of Health Canada. This application allows the government to store, track and refer to historical complaint and incident data, inspections on products and the various related companies, laboratory testing and subsequent results, industry correspondence, and management/federal government decisions regarding the sale of potentially dangerous products. The data stored in the Oracle relational database can help departmental staff identify trends developing in the incidence of injuries or deaths related to consumer products.
