La thérapie d'acceptation et d'engagement (de l'anglais Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, ACT) est une thérapie issue de la philosophie contextualiste et de la théorie des cadres relationnels. Elle considère que la plupart des problèmes rencontrés par un individu est liée à (1) l’évitement expérientiel (2) un usage excessif des règles au détriment des contingences environnementales pour guider le comportement et (3) un manque de clarté concernant les valeurs personnelles fondamentales ainsi qu’un déficit de l’habileté à s’engager dans leur direction.
