En ce qui concerne "barter", il s'agit d'un terme qui renvoie à la commercialisation des émissions télévisées, couramment pratiquée aux USA : un distributeur qui a une émission à vendre s'adresse à des stations [...] en leur proposant de leur vendre une émission entrecoupée de messages publicitaires. Le même distributeur se retourne ensuite vers des annonceurs pour leur vendre les espaces publicitaires dont il dispose ainsi. Il existe au moins trois sortes de barter : - le «pure barter» ou «straight barter» [...]; - «cash plus» [...]; - le «pure cash», qui est un échange de minutes d'espace publicitaire contre de l'argent.
