F. oblongues 4 à 8 cm sur 2,5 à 4 cm de large, base asymétrique. Fr. rougeâtres pubescents 8 mm de long, munis d'ailes étroites et d'un sommet caractéristique à deux dents. Rameaux avec crêtes subéreuses souvent 1,2 cm de large. Écorce brun rouge en côtes verticales et aplaties. Petit arbre de 12 à 15 m et 92 cm de diam., avec cime étroite et oblongue. Le plus commun dans les sols secs.
