Le terme «voie cyclable» désigne la partie d'une chaussée conçue pour les cycles. Une voie cyclable est séparée du reste de la chaussée par des marques routières longitudinales [...] Le marquage d'une voie cyclable peut être complété, mais non remplacé, par des signaux routiers.

OBS

Noter que la bande cyclable fait partie intégrante de la chaussée et n'en est distinguée que par un marquage au sol alors que la piste cyclable en est complètement séparée.
