La pulvérisation des produits liquides fait appel à deux sortes d'équipements : soit des rampes d'épandage munies de gicleurs à intervalles réguliers, soit des "atomiseurs", mis en rotation à grande vitesse à l'aide de moulinets et assurant une pulvérisation en gouttelettes beaucoup plus fines et régulières.
