Chemical Cartridge and Canister (gas mask) Respirators. ... The basic difference between a cartridge and a canister is the volume of sorbent it contains. The sorbent volume of a cartridge is small and its useful life is short, especially in areas of high gas or vapour concentration. These cartridges are limited to low concentrations and short exposure periods. However, canisters have more sorbent and can be used at higher gas concentrations or for extended periods under lower gas concentrations. 5, record 1, English, - canister

Masques antigaz.
