In September of 1992, Agriculture Canada contracted the Process Development Group of the Saskatchewan Research Council to conduct market research related to the establishment of a Canadian Ethanol Research and Development Centre (CERDC). The proposed function of the centre would be the development, evaluation, and scale-up of fuel ethanol process technology and the value-added upgrading of fermentation co-products. Au mois de septembre 1992, Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada a chargé le Process Development Group du Saskatchewan Research Council de réaliser une étude de marché sur la création d'un centre canadien de recherche et de développement sur l'éthanol (CCRDE).
