The Conseil pour le développement de l'agriculture du Québec (CDAQ) was created in 1996 following an agreement between the Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) and Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC). Its mission consists in promoting the adaptation and development of agriculture throughout Quebec by emphasizing community empowerment. Le Conseil pour le développement de l'agriculture du Québec (CDAQ) a été créé en 1996 à la suite d'une entente entre l'Union des producteurs agricoles (UPA) et Agriculture et Agroalimentaire Canada (AAC). Sa mission consiste à favoriser l'adaptation et le développement de l'agriculture sur l'ensemble du territoire québécois en privilégiant la prise en charge par le milieu.
