Revenue Canada. No Hassle Release was initially introduced in 1992 and has since been redefined and expanded as the New Business Relationship. Implementation of this initiative is complete and it now forms part of the Customs Commercial program

The New Business Relationship reduces the administrative burden on businesses, and offers them gains in efficiency to help them maintain a competitive edge. Under this new client-centred approach, the Department considers a company's capabilities, business needs, and record of compliance when choosing the customs practice that best meets the needs of both the company and the Department.

Revenu Canada. Le plan de la mainlevée sans tracasserie a été amorcé en 1992 et a été restructuré et redéfini et s'intitule maintenant Nouvelles relations d'affaires. La mise en œuvre de cette initiative est complétée et constitue maintenant une partie du programme douanier pour le secteur commercial.

Les Nouvelles relations d'affaires ont pour effet d'alléger le fardeau administratif des entreprises. Elles leur permettent aussi d'accroître leur efficience et, partant, de conserver leur avantage concurrentiel. Ainsi, dans le cadre de cette nouvelle approche axée sur le client, Revenu Canada doit décider du type de pratiques douanières qui répondra le mieux à ses besoins comme à ceux de l'entreprise. Pour y arriver, il doit tenir compte des capacités de l'entreprise, des besoins de celle-ci sur le plan commercial ainsi que de ses antécédents en matière d'observation des lois et des règlements.
