Les Maisons des jeunes du Pontiac is a non-profit organization which offers four youth houses of animated activities and support for kids and teens from the Pontiac: located in Rapides-des-Joachims, in Mansfield and in Shawville. The vision: that all teens from the Pontiac become active and responsible citizens. The mission: to offer animated youth houses where youth aged 6 to 17 years old from the Pontiac can become critical, active and responsible citizens.

Sa vision est que tous les adolescents du comté de Pontiac puissent devenir des citoyens actifs, critiques, sains et responsables. Une maison de jeunes se définie comme une association de jeunes et d’adultes qui se sont donné pour mission, sur une base volontaire, dans leur communauté, de tenir un lieu de rencontres animé où les jeunes, âgés principalement de 6 à 17 ans, au contact d’adultes significatifs, pourront devenir des citoyens critiques, actifs et responsables.
