L'expression «manche nulle» se dit également de la manche au cours de laquelle la dernière pierre a sorti toutes les pierres adverses sans compter elle-même et sans qu'une autre pierre de la même équipe ne le fasse. Il faut préférer la graphie «manche sans point» (aucun point n'étant compté) à «manche sans points» qui doit être utilisée seulement pour signifier «sans que des points n'aient été comptés».
