Clinical Practice Guidelines of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada (SOGC). Deals with transport of pregnant women. The introduction reads as follows: "Transport of high-risk pregnant women, mothers and neonates is recognized as an essential component of modern perinatal care. The outcome for the high risk neonate is improved if transported antenatally to a referral centre that can provide immediate intensive pediatric evaluation and support for the newborn. These guidelines are intended to assist nurses and physicians involved in the emergency transfer of the pregnant woman".
