Le matériel utilisé pour le Prick-test cutané se compose de : cotons ou compresses alcoolisés pour la préparation cutanée, un stylo marqueur pour la peau, les extraits allergéniques appropriés plus du sérum physiologique et une solution d'histamine comme témoins et enfin des microlances dermatologiques (certains praticiens préfèrent employer des aiguilles 265G). [...] on marque les points de ponction puis on dépose une petite goutte de chaque solution allergénique au niveau des repères. On introduit ensuite une microlance dans la peau, à travers la gouttelette, jusqu'à une profondeur d'environ 1 mm, puis on la retire en soulevant la peau, sans jamais provoquer de saignement.
