Injection sans canaux. Dans un moule alimenté de cette façon, le nez de la presse pénètre jusqu'à l'empreinte et la ferme par son extrémité (plate ou sphérique) adaptée à la partie correspondante du moule. Les conditions de remplissage ressemblent beaucoup à celles rencontrées en injection à canaux chauds avec une buse à obturateur. Elles exigent une cadence minimale de 5 injections par minute pour éviter le collage des pièces injectées au point chaud du moule.
