Compute Ontario (formerly the Ontario High Performance Computing Council – OHPCC) was formed to represent Ontario’s three publicly-funded regional high performance computing networks (SHARCNET: West and North; HPCVL: East; and SciNet: Toronto). Compute Ontario was established to build on the foundation laid by OHPCC in its 2008 Ontario High Performance Computing Strategy. Compute Ontario brings improved management, oversight and coordination to Ontario’s and Canada’s investments in high performance computing in the province.
