Les conditions de confort, et surtout celle de la luminance limite du plafond, sont plus restrictives que dans le cas des installations maillées : des luminances trop élevées sur des surfaces trop grandes entraînant un éblouissement insupportable.

Selon la source FOARC, «plafond éclairant» est l'équivalent de «luminous ceiling». Voir aussi cette fiche. Le «plafond éclairant» est peut-être un générique par rapport au «plafond grillagé».
