GUI NESS [National Employment Services System] is a micro application. The application provides a GUI [graphical user interface] through which NESS users can access and manage the information in the legacy mainframe database. The features of the graphical interface reflect the functions available in the mainframe application, but provide a "friendlier" face and standard MS Windows functionality.
