Le terme «substance hasardeuse» est l'expression utilisée (malheureusement) dans la Loi sur les produits dangereux (et dans le Réglementation du Canada sur l'hygiène et la sécurité au travail) mais c'est un expression à proscrire : l'adjectif «hasardeux» ne peut qualifier une substance. On peut dire «une entreprise hasardeuse», «une affaire hasardeuse», mais pas une «substance hasardeuse».
