SICE for short from its Spanish acronym - (Sistema de Información sobre Comercio Exterior) was established by the Organization of American States (OAS) to provide foreign trade information to the public and private sectors of members states, in order to help them promote the entry of their country's products into foreign markets and to assist them in the decision-making process. Le Système d'information sur le commerce extérieur (en abrégé SICE d'après le sigle espagnol «Sistema de Información sobre Comercio Exterior») a été créé par l'Organisation des États américains (OAS) pour fournir des renseignements sur le commerce extérieur aux secteurs public et privé des États membres pour les aider à promouvoir l'entrée de produits de leurs pays sur les marchés étrangers et pour les aider dans le processus décisionnel.
