Détecteurs de forces. La première méthode qui fut employée pour mesurer la déviation du levier s'imposa presque comme une évidence. Le moyen le plus puissant pour mesurer de petites distances à ce moment-là était bien évidemment le STM [microscope à effet tunnel].
