Todd Shipyards was contracted by Tocamo Narrows Constructors to fabricate two steel cutting edges. A cutting edge,sometimes called a "cutting shoe", is a 130-foot by 90-foot steel fabricated structure whose job is to cut into the Tacoma Narrows seabed.
