Ce sens de "naturalisation" n'est pour le moment pas attesté dans les dictionnaires généraux ou spécialisés, ni en anglais ni en français. Un urbaniste à la ville de Montréal, nous a dit avoir déjà vu le terme "renaturaliser" (dans le sens de "redonner à un site son caractère naturel"), mais il n'est pas certain que ce terme soit bon; il pourrait, en outre, signifier "naturaliser une deuxième fois", ce qui n'est pas juste. En attendant de trouver une expression consacrée, on peut penser à d'autres périphrases. Ces termes ne sont pas nécessairement synonymes bien que les dictionnaires les disent tels. La taxidermie, c'est l'art de monter les animaux, surtout les vertébrés. L'empaillage en constitue le moyen : par rembourrage, on leur conserve une forme naturelle.
