In contrast to non-abusive caregivers, the abusive caregivers were found to have significantly more dependencies on the elderly in four areas: (1) housing; (2) household repair; (3) financial assistance; and (4) transportation.

OBS

The term "caretaker" is usually used in the sense of building superintendent. Nevertheless at least two sources, MEABU and ABUME, use it to mean "caregiver".
