The Association of Complementary and Integrative Physicians of BC (ACIPBC) is a registered society that is open to medical doctors with specific expertise or a general interest in complementary health care or integrative medicine. The association was formed in October 1995 when a group of physicians with special interests in complementary therapies started having monthly meetings in Victoria and Vancouver, BC [British Columbia].

The mission of the ACIPBC is the advancement of excellence in holistic patient care, by promoting professional development of physicians through the exchange of ideas, research and continuing education, and by disseminating information and providing education to health professionals, students and the public.
