Reconfigurable network built for AI problems.

OBS

The BBN Butterfly machine, a reconfigurable network of M6800 computers. The Butterfly machine which was designed and built by BBN (Bolt, Beranek and Newman) under funding from DARPA is now commercially available, with 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256 processors. Both the hardware (Crowther alt al. 1985) and the Butterfly's Chrysalis operating system (Retthergetal. 1983) were originally built to collect and concentrate digitized speech.
