L'évaluation comparative et objective d'un curriculum semble, à la limite, un leurre, car un curriculum se fonde au départ sur un jugement de valeurs. Or, comment comparer des curricula qui ne poursuivent pas les mêmes fins et les mêmes buts? Par contre, il est possible - et d'un grand intérêt de déterminer si un curriculum particulier atteint, de façon satisfaisante, les objectifs qu'il s'est assignés.
