The Government of Canada is recognized as a leader in its use of technology and Government Telecommunications and Informatics Services (GTIS) Branch of Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is an important reason why GTIS provides IM/IT services to support the central and common service program delivery needs of PWGSC and the needs of other federal government departments. On a government-wide basis, GTIS acts as a key delivery agent of the Government of Canada's IM/IT infrastructure.
