Another idea that is often proposed for semantic representation is that of procedural semantics. This is based on the intuition that certain kinds of knowledge are better thought of not as static data structures but as procedures that can be executed.

OBS

A major problem in AI is how to represent meanings, or semantics. One way to do this is to represent a meaning as a program, and when it is executed the meaning has a pragmatic result. See also Pragmatics.
