On observe ici un circuit additionneur complet sur un bit, réalisé avec 2 transistors à tunnel de résonance et 15 transistors conventionnels à double hétéro-jonction, résidant côté à côté grâce à un procédé spécial développé par T1. Ces composants remplacent 40 transistors conventionnels, et le circuit fonctionne 3 fois plus vite et offre une densité 3 fois supérieure à celle des circuit intégrés actuels.
