Système réticulé. Par différence avec un voile plein, système constructif dans lequel les forces qui sollicitent une ossature sont astreintes à parcourir un réseau de barres ou de nervures qui leur impose un cheminement. Exemple : poutre à treillis; ferme; poutre Vierendeel; palée de stabilité comprenant des barres de triangulation; ossature en portique sur plusieurs travées et/ou plusieurs niveaux. On dit également «réticulaire».
