The safety fuse can be lit by using a match or special fuse igniters with a pyrotechnic head. In countries where safety fuse initiation is normally used, a type of fuse is also employed which is connected to special firing heads attached to the end of the fuse. This means that several fuses can be arranged to be activated from one single lighting point. 1, record 1, English, - safety%20fuse%20initiation

1, record 1, French, - allumage%20par%20m%C3%A8che%20de%20s%C3%BBret%C3%A9
