Transport Canada. The Safety Services Branch ensures the formulation and ongoing development of safety promotion and safety evaluation standards and practices for monitoring the National Civil Aviation Transportation System (NCATS). Specialists are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining safety policies for the five regional System Safety offices. As well, they are responsible for the production, publication and distribution of a family of aviation safety newsletters, various videos, brochures and posters.
