Les buselures d'étanchéité sont des composants très importants car elles constituent une barrière du circuit primaire et, à ce titre, sont conçues pour résister à la pression primaire. Elles prolongent, par l'intermédiaire des vannes manuelles, les tubes de guidage et sont traversées par les tubes doigt de gant. Chaque buselure est constituée de deux ensembles de joints en série entre lesquels est installé un dispositif de détection de fuites. Ces joints sont serrés axialement par des écrous.
