A gas burner in which the actual combustion begins in a refractory tunnel or tuyere block. It is a relatively high capacity partial-premix type of gun burner, which uses the kinetic energy of the gas stream issuing from the orifice to bring in at least part of the air required for combustion. A wide range of control of flame characteristics is obtained by adjustment of the primary air, thus causing combustion to be delayed until secondary air can reach the air-fuel mixture. 1, record 1, English, - tunnel%20burner
