praecipitatio (pra): Precipitation (rain, drizzle, snow, ice pellets, hail, etc.) falling from a cloud and reaching the Earth's surface. This supplementary feature (thus named because precipitation appears as an extension of the cloud) is mostly encountered with altostratus, nimbostratus, stratocumulus, stratus, cumulus and cumulonimbus.

praecipitatio (pra) : Précipitations (pluie, bruine, neige, granules de glace, grésil, grêle, etc.) tombant d'un nuage et atteignant la surface du globe. Cette particularité supplémentaire (ainsi nommée parce que la précipitation apparaît comme un prolongement des nuages) se présente, le plus souvent, avec les altostratus, nimbostratus, stratocumulus, stratus, cumulus et cumulonimbus.
