Long-term cooling (LTC) system: The LTC system provides long-term recirculation and recovery. It is used for cooling of the reactor after postulated transients, including LOCA, and during maintenance.

Circuit de refroidissement à long terme (LTC) : le circuit LTC est chargé de la recirculation et de la récupération à long terme. Il permet de refroidir le réacteur après d'hypothétiques transitoires, y compris une PERCA, et pendant les opérations de maintenance. Il redémarre automatiquement lorsque le circuit primaire est suffisamment dépressurisé, après quoi il passe au mode de récupération à long terme.
