OBS

It presents with redness, discharge and/or sticking of the lids on awakening and is commonly associated with a burning or smarting sensation.

Le malade ressent une sensation de brûlure, de corps étranger, mais sans douleurs profondes. La conjonctive est rouge, oedématiée, et surtout elle sécrète. Cette sécrétion, plus ou moins abondante, agglutine les cils et soude l'une à l'autre les paupières le matin au réveil.
