ECHELLE COMPTAGE [1 record]

English

Subject field(s)
  • Atomic Physics
  • Compartment - Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission
CONT

The basic Kusnetz technique employed a count rate meter to measure the alpha emission rate from the sample, and had a practical detection limit of about 0.3 WL [working levels]. The modified technique requires the use of a scaler in place of the count rate meter, and this results in a reduction of the practical detection limit to about 0.03 WL.

Domaine(s)
  • Physique atomique
  • Tiroir - Commission canadienne de sûreté nucléaire
CONT
