Motion-picture film 16 mm (approximately 3/5 inch) wide; used widely for educational purposes and for amateur motion-picture making.

16mm film : The 16mm silent film has 18 frames per second and sprocket holes on both sides. The 16mm sound film has 24 frames per second and sprocket holes on one side. The other side is used for the sound.

OBS

Films for educational and commercial uses are produced in several sizes: 8mm, 16mm, 35mm, and 70mm. The "mm" stands for millimeters - i.e., width of the film in millimeters.
