With the onset of the flu season, Flu Prevention Month is a reminder to protect ourselves from the influenza virus. Each year, millions of Canadians get sick with the flu. Although most people recover completely, complications from influenza can be life-threatening, especially for the elderly or those with underlying medical conditions.
