Technique de la double poche capsulaire - Cette technique, préconisée par Welch (1982) et reprise par De Laage, consiste à réaliser deux poches capsulaires verticales droite et gauche qui vont recevoir les haptiques de l'implant. Ces deux poches laissent libre au centre une bande verticale sans capsule antérieure, de 3 mm de large, qui va s'élargir lorsque le noyau sera enlevé et lorsque les anses de l'implant tendront latéralement le sac capsulaire.
