The Part-Time Canada Student Loans Plan is funded by the Government of Canada and administered in Ontario by the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP). Policies regarding eligibility, amounts, and repayment obligations, etc. are established by the federal government and application procedures are established by OSAP. This program makes loans available to eligible postsecondary students taking part-time studies. A "part-time student" is defined as a student taking from 20 to 59 per cent of a full course load. A person with a permament disability is considered to be a part-time student if he or she is taking between 20 to 39 per cent of a full course load. Le Programme canadien de prêts aux étudiants à temps partiel est financé par le gouvernement du Canada et administré en Ontario par le Régime d'aide financière aux étudiantes et étudiants de l'Ontario (RAFEO). Les politiques concernant l'admissibilité, les montants, les obligations relatives aux remboursements, etc., sont établies par le gouvernement fédéral, alors que les procédures de demande sont déterminées par le RAFEO. Ce programme offre des prêts aux étudiants admissibles qui étudient à temps partiel, c'est-à-dire qui suivent 20 à 59 pourcent d'une charge de cours complète. Dans le cas d'une personne handicapée, c'est 20 à 39 pour cent de la charge de cours complète qu'il lui font suivre.
